Rug Cleaning in New Jersey

Area Rug Cleaning in New Jersey

Area rugs catch the brunt of foot traffic and protect the floor underneath. Most need a real cleaning, not just vacuuming, every year or so. We clean area rugs across New Jersey using a method matched to the fiber, dyes, and construction.

Rug Cleaning, professional cleaning in NJ

On-site cleaning works well for most synthetic and machine-made rugs, we treat them like an extension of the carpet cleaning service: dust, pre-treat, extract, groom, and dry with airflow.

Hand-knotted wool, silk, Persian, and Oriental rugs are checked for dye stability before any wet cleaning. When the rug warrants it, we use lower temperatures, neutral chemistry, and longer dry times to protect colors and foundation.

Pet accidents on rugs are common. We'll be honest about what's recoverable, fresh spots usually clean well, deeply soaked older spots are harder and sometimes need wash-room service that we can refer.

Our process

How a typical visit goes

01

On-site inspection

We check the material, condition, traffic patterns, and any spots or odors before we set up.

02

Pre-treatment

Stains, traffic lanes, and odor sources are pre-treated with chemistry matched to the fiber.

03

Deep cleaning

We clean with the right method for the material, hot water extraction, low-moisture, or dry-solvent.

04

Grooming & dry-time

We groom the surface back to its natural lay and set airflow so it dries quickly and evenly.

Questions about rug cleaning

Often yes, when the dyes are stable and the rug is in good condition. We test first; if it needs full wash-pit treatment, we'll tell you.

Silk is delicate. We can surface-clean a silk rug if dye testing passes, but deep cleaning may be better done by a wash-pit specialist, we'll be straight with you.

Not when handled correctly. We protect fringes and avoid the chemistry that causes yellowing.
